If you are considering adopting a dog from us, please read the following:

      • WE ARE NOT A SHELTER and do not have a kennel. but depend on private foster homes.
      • Each pet is listed with the Email address of a contact person.
      • THE FIRST CONTACT IS USUALLY BY EMAIL

      Please let us know briefly:

      • Where you live
      • Whether you live in an apartment or a house/condo and have a fence
      • Your age - you must be at least 21 years old and economically independent to adopt a dog from us.
      • Whether you own a dog now, your vet information
      • Allergies to dogs
      • Children in the house, age of kids
The simplest and quickest way to provide us with this information is to send an Online Adoption Application,  a simple text file. You can download it from here. You can either return it as a form by copying the text, filling in  and sending it as a email to the contact email address (the one listed on the pets' page).  Or if you are using webtv or aol, you can email a free text answer file.  Most of us simply don't have the time to conduct extensive telephone interviews. If you are completely clueless as to how to send the application please send an email to that effect.

If you are reluctant to divulge information about yourself, leave out the part that you feel is sensitive, personal, classified or whatever. But please do NOT expect us to tell you whether a particular dog would fit into your home if we have no idea WHO you are. We don't have a psychic on staff - yet. Any information we receive will be confidential. We don't keep a database. Please keep a copy on your computer to be sent to a different foster home should you choose to at a later time.

Should the foster parent feel after reading the application that there are good reasons not to place a particular dog with you, they have full discretion in following their judgment.   Please realize that all of our dogs have been through at least one previous home.  We cannot afford in the animal's interest to compromise and risk yet another poor match. The other side of the coin is that we will take back an animal for life - if physically possible and with fair advance notice.

Since many of our foster dogs will receive a large number of applications, we can unfortunately not always reply individually.  So if you do not get a reply - and are sure that the email was received -  please continue searching Petfinder for the right dog for you.
